Amber Cox Named NLL Executive of the Year

Amber Cox was recognized as the 2017 National Lacrosse League Executive of the Year after helping the New England Black Wolves achieve new attendance records in her first season.

The Black Wolves opened the season with their first sellout in franchise history, drawing 7,074 fans to Mohegan Sun Arena for a game against the Buffalo Bandits on January 28th. New England would eventually draw an average of 5,402 fans per game, raising average attendance by almost 2,000 fans.

Cox was named the Vice President of the New England Black Wolves and Connecticut Sun on October 13, 2016. She is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of both franchises, including ticket sales, marketing and media and community relations.
