Black Wolves Acquire Digby

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (July 23, 2018) – The New England Black Wolves have acquired Tyler Digby from the Calgary Roughnecks.

In addition to Digby, New England will receive a fourth-round pick in the 2019 NLL Entry Draft while Calgary will receive a second- and third-round pick in the 2019 Entry Draft from the Black Wolves.

“Tyler is a player we’ve had our eye on for a while,” Black Wolves head coach Glenn Clark said. “His style of game will fit nicely with our offensive group and particularly our right side. We are very excited to have him join the pack.”

A 6-foot-3 forward, Digby has 271 points on 124 goals and 147 assists in 85 career games over five seasons. He had 22 points (six goals, 16 assists) in 13 games for the Roughnecks during the 2017-18 season.

“I am very excited to be joining the Black Wolves,” Digby said. “I think the offense is a great fit for my style of play and I look forward to getting to training camp and working on bringing a championship to New England.”

New England finished 9-9 during the 2017-18 regular season and was eliminated in the East Division semifinals at Rochester. Season tickets for the 2018-19 season are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 844-LAX-WOLF.
