RUBBER MATCH
Friday’s game will serve as the tiebreaker in the season series between the two franchises, as the Black Wolves and the Swarm have each won one game on the season. The Black Wolves defeated the Swarm 13-12 on January 19, with Tyler Digby picking up the game winning goal with 2:52 to play. The forward finished the night with two goals and three assists for five points while Callum Crawford had six points on three goals and three assists and Stephan Leblanc added two goals and two helpers. Georgia came out on top 16-12 in the first contest on December 8.

 

GOING STREAKING
Heading into Friday’s game, forwards Stephan Leblanc and Callum Crawford are holding onto some impressive streaks. Leblanc, who had one assist against Buffalo, has recorded a point in 34 consecutive games dating back to February 25, 2017 when he was a member of the Toronto Rock. Crawford, acquired last March from the Buffalo Bandits, has scored at least one goal in 21 consecutive games dating to December 20, 2017. He had three in the loss to the Bandits on January 27.

 

LAST TIME OUT
On January 27, the Black Wolves fell 15-5 to the Buffalo Bandits. Callum Crawford led the way with three goals while JP Kealey and Colton Watkinson each recorded one goal and one assist and Tyler Digby had three assists.

 

BRICK WALL
Last time out against Georgia, Alex Buque once again went all 60 minutes and picked up his second victory with the club. He recorded 37 saves, including 11 in the third quarter and nine in the fourth. He has a goals against average of 11.48 in three games and a save percentage of 76.8 on the year.
