Black Wolves Trade Powless

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (August 13, 2018) – The New England Black Wolves announced today that they have traded Johnny Powless to the Calgary Roughnecks as part of a three-team deal.

In exchange, the Black Wolves receive second round pick in the 2019 NLL Entry Draft and a fourth round pick in 2020. Calgary then traded Powless to the Toronto Rock in exchange for Dan Taylor.

Acquired in a trade in February from the Georgia Swarm, Powless had 17 points on eight goals and nine assists in 10 games for New England. He also scooped up 18 loose balls.

New England finished 9-9 during the 2017-18 regular season and was eliminated in the East Division semifinals at Rochester. Season tickets for the 2018-19 season are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 844-LAX-WOLF.
