Crowley Returns To Black Wolves

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (October 10, 2015) – The New England Black Wolves have acquired Kevin Crowley from the Toronto Rock in exchange for Dan Lintner and New England’s second round pick in the 2016 NLL Entry Draft. The trade is pending league approval.

The only player to be drafted first in both professional lacrosse leagues, Crowley returns to the Black Wolves after being traded to Toronto in March for forward Garrett Billings.

Crowley finished the 2015 regular season with 64 points (24 goals, 39 assists), 52 of which came on 19 goals and 33 assists in 10 games for New England prior to the trade. In five playoff games with Toronto, Crowley had 12 points on five goals and seven assists.

Selected No. 1 overall in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Wings, Crowley recorded 270 points in his career for the franchise, including a single-season best 75 on 33 goals and 42 assists in 2014. A member of the 2012 NLL All-Rookie Team, the forward was also selected to play in the 2012 All-Star Game.

 A 5-foot-9 forward, Lintner was selected eighth overall by the Black Wolves in the 2015 NLL Entry Draft on September 28th. The Cornell product finished his career with 88 goals and 96 points in 51 games. He had 47 goals as a junior, the 10th highest single-season goal total in Big Red program history. This past season, he finished with 30 goals, including eight multiple-goal games.

The Black Wolves open the 2016 NLL season January 9th in Vancouver before returning to Connecticut for its home opener against the Calgary Roughnecks on Friday, January 15th at 7 p.m. at Mohegan Sun Arena.
