Five Black Wolves Named To 2015 US Men’s Indoor National Team

Following a three-day training camp at the Westminster School in Simsbury, Conn., US Lacrosse has announced the final 23-man roster for the 2015 U.S. Men’s Indoor National Team. Team USA will compete in the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Indoor Championship, Sept. 18-27 in Onondaga Nation and Syracuse, N.Y.

Team USA has earned the bronze medal in each of the three FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship events (2003, 2007, 2011). The 2011 championship saw Canada defeat the Iroquois Nationals for gold in Prague, Czech Republic.

There will be five representatives from the Black Wolves on the roster – forward Kevin Buchanan, defensemen Ryan Hotaling, Brett Manney and Brian Megill and goalie Chris Collins. It is the second Team USA appearance for Buchanan, who also represented the United States as a memeber of the 2011 Indoor Team.

Team USA will kick off the FIL World Indoor Championship on September 18th by taking on the Iroquois Nation at 8:30 p.m. Black Wolves forward Brett Bucktooth is a member of the Iroquois National Team.
