New England Signs Resetarits to Two-Year Deal

UNCASVILLE, CT. (July 17, 2020) – The New England Black Wolves have signed Joe Resetarits to a two-year deal. The veteran forward was acquired by the Black from the Rochester Knighthawks last spring. The acquisition was in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2019 NLL Entry Draft as well as a first-round selection in the 2022 draft.

Per team policy, no details were released.

“Getting Joe signed for two years is very important for our team. He works extremely well with Callum [Crawford] and their games complement each other’s skill set,” general manager and head coach Glenn Clark said of the forward.

Throughout seven games with the Pack in the spring of 2019, Resetarits recorded 24 points on 13 goals and 11 assists to establish himself in the top five on the team in points. During the 2019-20 season, he appeared in all of the team’s 11 contests. The Derby, NY native scored 24 goals, four of which were powerplay goals and tallied 20 assists, four of which were also on powerplays. Resetarits’ 44 total points placed him second on the team behind only Crawford.

Over the course of his eight-year career, Resetarits has appeared in 127 games, has scored 186 goals and dished out 248 assists. Of those goals and assists, he has recorded 28 career powerplay goals and 47 powerplay assists. Additionally, he has collected 482 lose balls and has caused 12 turnovers.

“After coming to the Black Wolves a year and a half ago, I quickly realized this was the perfect fit for me,” Resetarits stated. “I can’t wait to come back with this great group of guys, coaches and staff!”
