The Pack Gives Back

The New England Black Wolves, and their fans, made an impact on the local community in December.

On December 6th, Black Wolves forward Shawn Evans visited the Case Street School in Norwich.  An Early Learning Center, the school is designed to be a preschool experience that will foster positive self-esteem and a positive attitude toward learning.

Evans visited with four classes at the school, where he read two books and had fun interacting with the kids. He also talked about making positive choices and showed off some lacrosse skills to the group.

At the Black Wolves home opener on December 10th, fans were encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to the game. All of the toys that were generously donated by fans were then donated to the Tommy Toy Fund through the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut. The Fund assists over 2,000 families in the local area during the holiday season.
